Manners Maketh Man

Manners Maketh Man serves as a blog and website for those with an appreciation for fashion, travel and lifestyle.

The project was created by Rav Rayet and Richie Keegan, two individuals working as a collective with the intention to inspire and influence through their photography and sartorial preferences. The Manners Maketh Man team consists of several unique yet like-minded people, all of whom share the same passion and motivation as the duo that founded it.

A limited edition rucksack that takes its design inspiration from Jura Single Malt Whisky and its island home situated off the West Coast of Scotland. As beautiful as it is remote, it's known for having just one road, one pub and one iconic distillery.

Influenced by the the colour of Jura Whisky, the smoky waxed cotton is derived from the dye made from the natural crottle lichen that grows on the West Coast of the Island. From the distillery on the calm East Coast, copper rivets nod to the tall copper stills which give Jura its light and delicate taste.

The rucksack has Deer hide zip detailing which represents the island’s 5000 wild deer population. Taking on the shape of a barley sack, the bag is 20 litres in volume; the approximate amount of ‘Angel’s Share’ (the whisky which evaporates during maturation) lost from a cask of Jura each year.

Only 130 exclusively numbered bags are available worldwide.
