Our first adventure of 2015 starts with a short visit to the fascinating (and very cold) city of Stockholm. Don't be fooled, visiting this city in the summer is a complete contrast to landing there during the winter months when the days are shorter, sunlight is minimal and layers are essential! Despite all this, Stockholm does not stop. Coffee culture, or 'Fika' as it's known in Sweden, is hugely popular and it's pretty easy to see why. On almost every street you'll find plenty of really unique cafés that serve some of the best coffee, tea and desserts around. It's also worth checking out the Gamla Stan district (The Old Town) for its history, architecture and narrow medieval streets. This area is one of the most popular amongst locals and becomes even more picturesque if you're around when it snows. Just don't forget to wrap up.
